It can be difficult to cope with personal issues in your life. Most people try to handle their own issues and by doing so, their issues get worse. In order to face your issues, it is best to talk to an experienced therapist who can give you tips on how you can deal with your issues better.
Lisa Schmude is a licensed marriage and family therapist based out of Torrance, California. To get the most out of her therapy sessions, she expects you to come on a weekly basis. With weekly sessions, you can learn to cope with your problems a little quicker and you can retain information that she gives you. Even if you don’t have insurance, she will work with you. She believes that your mental health is important no matter what the cost is. You have to believe and motivate yourself to want to become a better person.
Even though she is here to support you and give you advice, it is your job to put those skills to good use. She wants to let you know that you don’t have to deal with your personal issues alone. When you come into your weekly sessions, it is up to you on when you want to end each session. You can be sure that she will give you her honest advice that you wouldn’t get from a relative or friend.
